Welcome to Cornerstone Community Centre

Here at Cornerstone Community Centre our aim is to transform our community in the interests of social welfare, recreation and leisure time activities.

The site itself comprises of a large hall, meeting room, kitchen, café, a household goods/furniture recycling centre and just under an acre of land suitable for outdoor sports and other activities.

We aim to provide leisure and education facilities and services within the village, in particularly for the elderly, children and young people.

By associating with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort we aim to:
Provide youth services in the area
Advance education
Help the environment by recycling furniture and household goods
Our mission is to develop relationships within our community so that we may equip them for life, encourage them to express themselves, enable them to connect with others and ultimately transform our community without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions.

Family Support Group ‘Big Cup’  opens its doors in Silverdale’s Cornerstones Community Centre.  Wednesday from 11am-1pm (term time only)

Big Cup is run in a similar way to most toddler groups as there are plenty of activities to keep the children occupied including painting, musical time, play-doh, arts and crafts, as well as regular sessions from Jo Jingles. But the focus here isn’t just about the children, it’s about giving support to the adults, parent to parent.  Click here for more details
